Acpuncture, Moxa, Cupping, Infrared Therapy in Boston

Is acupuncture safe?

Acupuncture is extremely safe when performed by a trained and licensed acupuncturist. Thin, sterile, single-use, disposable needles are used. There are no drugs involved in acupuncture. The needles simply stimulate energy and blood flow, activating the body's natural healing properties.

How long does a session last?

Your first session will be 75-90 minutes and includes an initial consultation plus treatment. Followup sessions are 60 minutes.

Does it work immediately?

Like most therapies, acupuncture is a cumulative process. Everyone's body is different, but most people find some change after the first session and increasing improvement with subsequent sessions. The severity and chronicity of your condition along with a number of other factors that will be explored in your initial consultation will guide us to the amount of treatment you will need.
